Current Sires represent this year's breeding males, Candidate Sires are next year's candidates, and the CoI calculation shows how inbreeding would increase from the sire lines if we bred the candidates to the current sires' daughters. Use it as a cheap upfront filter to eliminate candidates that are already closely related to your current pool. Survivors should then be checked against your actual dams in the All Females tab.
